Midsoles, with raised foxing and all, are removed of their contrast black stripes while red box logo detailing line the forefoot edge with "KITH" and the heel with the standard 1970s stamp. Grey denim twill appears smooth with no contrast weft throughout its entire construction, though the edges at the top line arrive slightly frayed for a note of signature distressing. Embroidered "COCACOLA" bolds emblazons from the lateral to the medial, leading to a patch that references old-timey branding.
Shown above, the Tyler, is done in an official color scheme listed as Blue, Egret, and Black. Opting for a unique design and construction, the shoe starts off with a premium denim upper that is then covered in different colored polka dots. Other details on the shoe include the Silver metal eyelets, White laces, the signature Black license plate on the lower heel and a polka dot-covered outsole.
EU-based retailer Offspring is all about their people, so they’re placing their most loyal customers front and center on their new collaborations, entitled the "Community" pack. Earlier this year, Offspring put a call out for Chuck patch designs and accepted a multitude of submissions, three of which will in fact grace their crisp white take on the Chuck 70 High. They’ve also got a black Chuck 70 Low on the way, although it won’t feature a patch.
Arriving in both white with black accents and black with white accents, each pair presents a bold and vivid look, one that’s accented with a slightly oversized midsole that offers ridged detailing and an enlarged toe bumper. A specialized cut-out chevron logo on the medial ankle and heel pull tab then finalizes the stylings. These special Chuck Taylors and will release on July 20th exclusively at ComplexCon, six days before they roll out globally.
Clot and Converse have joined forces for a new collaboration which is inspired by their Chuck Taylor All Star “Handshake” collab from 2011. This time around the collection will include clean renditions of the the and Chuck 70 Hi. First we take a look at the Clot x Converse Chuck 70 Ox “Paloma” which comes covered in a grey canvas upper along with white and gum detailing on the toe. Then we have the Clot x Converse Chuck 70 Hi which features a white canvas construction on the upper with red laces and gum hitting the front of the toe. Clot’s signature Silk Royale design gets embossed on the tongue tag, shoelaces, and insoles along with more Clot branding on the heels.
